Meeting Registration Logistics
This photo shows an example of the onsite scanning system used to check in attendees and print badges, along with the self-service registration area and our registration counters.
Starting with the 2012 AADR/CADR Annual Meeting in Tampa, Florida, a check in system was used for badge printing for conference attendees. This system was created in collaboration with the database vendor using barcodes similar to airport boarding passes, allowing self-printing of meeting badges to streamline attendee experience, including purchasing barcode scanners that work on mobile devices.
